Mumbai, 06th October 2023- SBI General Insurance, one of India’s leading general insurers, announced the appointment of Mr. Rakesh Kaul as Chief Business Officer. This appointment aligns with the company’s vision of being one of the leaders in the General Insurance industry and providing accessible insurance solutions to the masses. In his new role, he will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies, overseeing sales and distribution efforts, and driving overall company growth.
Mr. Kaul is a seasoned BFSI professional with more than two decades of rich experience in the insurance industry. He has previously worked and held leadership positions with organizations such as ICICI Lombard General Insurance, Liberty General Insurance and Zuno General Insurance. He holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, a Post Graduate Degree in Digital Business and a Master’s Degree in Economics from Pune University
