“Select Citywalk” welcomes the new normal with new and disruptive initiatives

Delhi’s Select Citywalk shopping center introduces direct delivery service of items through Whatsapp ordering as new normal. Select Citywalk opened on June 8 with utmost safety, sanitization, and social distancing which is very important for this COVID-19 environment.

 As a part of this ‘new normal’, they introduced various programs with the aim to give the customers seamless retail experience along with minimal human interaction. For implementing this they offered new services like Concierge Services for all queries, Contactless Ordering & Home Delivery Services, Personal Shopper Service, Curbside Pickup, and on the anvil is the introduction of the Online Shopping Guide. 

The Concierge service offered by Citywalk is a digital service that offers immediate response to any type of queries by the customer. This type of service can offer greater engagement and thereby long term relationships with their customers. Concierge services are promoted through Whatsapp. The consumers can ask any questions related to the mall, it’s working, and their safety procedures. A chat box will be provided which response to the most frequently asked question and it also tries to offer the customers connect with the brand.

This Whatapp service also offers direct delivery of service at home through various payment options. Through the personal shopper service, a pre-booking facility is made available for the consumers to enjoy hassle-free shopping.

The Curbside pickup desk is placed at the entrance so that the customers will have minimal personal interaction with other people. Even a direct session with the stylist is also offered to help the customers have a trouble-free experience. The orders which are already placed in the Concierge services can be picked up from the Curbside Pickup centers.

 There are various other safety measures carried out by Citywalk for customers visiting the malls. These include temperature check for all customers, encouraging the visitors to install Arogya Setu app, making masks a compulsory requirement for everyone entering the mall, hand sanitizers to be made available at all important points, maintaining a book of records about all people visiting and leaving the building, markings for social distancing inside the escalators. A minimum of four people is allowed in the elevator at a time.
