Shaina Ganapathy, Head of Community Outreach, Embassy Group, “At Embassy Group, we strongly believe that collaboration is the key to empowering the next generation, revitalizing our environment and strengthening our nation. This esteemed recognition would not have been possible without our Corporate and NGO partners, with whom we’ve been able to scale to incredible heights and give back in such meaningful ways. Above all, thank you to Embassy Group, my team and our employees for their continued support and commitment to our communities. We hope to join hands with more corporates and the Government in our endeavor to deepen our collective impact.”
Embassy Group aims to build a sustainable ecosystem and actively contribute to the social, economic and environmental development of the communities in which they operate. With the vision to transform the education and health infrastructure in India, Shaina believes it is instrumental in building a strong future for the nation. The Group’s outreach initiatives are therefore designed to provide every child with a holistic education experience and access to a range of education resources such as teachers, a safe and hygienic learning environment, comprehensive health program, and educational programs. The Group has also developed an alumni program for Government School children, which supports students in gaining employment through scholarships for higher education, skill development, college and career counselling.
Actively advocating for collective action through Embassy’s unique Corporate Connect Program, she draws together leaders and corporates across Embassy’s Business Parks with a common vision and aligned CSR mandates to spur collaboration for deeper and accelerated community transformation. Till date, the Group has collaborated with 34 corporates for 63 community projects in the spaces of Government School Health and Infrastructure, Public Infrastructure, and Covid-19 relief.
During the Covid-19 pandemic and ensuing crises, Shaina led the relief efforts of Embassy Group with a focus on frontline medical workers and police forces, Government School students and their families, and marginalised and underprivileged populations around the country. Under her leadership, the Group contributed towards supplementing the health infrastructure of the nation, through leading a corporate consortium to partner with the Health Department during the second wave. They have supported 12 hospitals across India with much-needed medical equipment, as well as the provision of 137 ICU and high-dependency beds.
