After completing her graduation in Literature and working at a few of the most promising firms, Shivangi felt the need to do something of her own, and This drive led to the birth of The Natural Wash.
Fueled by a passion for developing her products from the ground up, she pursued several courses in soap making and finally came up with a formulation of her own. It was a Multani Mitti Soap and was made using the actual ingredients and not artificial essence. She used these ingredients and their power to create magic. While she was the one who created the product, Akshit was the man behind the stage. In addition to being Shivangi’s partner, he also held her hand to collaboratively convert their dreams into reality. They started by selling their soap bars at exhibitions and small kiosks to understand customer feedback and market demand.
Initially, they were only using ayurvedic ingredients that were safe for all skin types. However, they recognized that Indian customers often seek quicker outcomes. This insight led them to pivot by incorporating active ingredients that remained safe but delivered faster results. Keeping in mind the diverse skin types and textures of their customers along with varied weather conditions, they created toners for all skin types. What truly sets them apart is their mindful approach to following trends—they prioritize the skin’s needs over fleeting market fads
