Shreya Pujari, Walked for Fashion Designer Archana Kochhar’s at Pune Times Fashion Week

April 2023: Ace fashion designer Archana Kochhar presented her collection Mauryan, on 31st March, at the Pune Times Fashion Week, a Times of India initiative. The show was opened by the NoFiltr creator Shreya Pujari at the Westin Pune. Notable guests that attended the show were Aashna Bhagwati, Jainal Mehta, Hina Khan, and Tulsi Kumar. Kochhar has been invited to showcase her collections on national and international runways, from Lakmé to London Fashion Week, and last night was another exhibit of her artistic brilliance. 

The collection presented – Mauryan takes inspiration from the golden age of ancient India, materializing a fine blend of Indo-western and new-age silhouettes. Fabricated from age-old embroidery techniques, Mauryan is a contemporary collection for the global Indian. 

In her design journey to date, Archana Kochhar has amassed distinguished accolades and significant achievements. She has showcased her contemporary collections at the New York Fashion Week for several seasons. One of the most noteworthy has been the “Bring Beauty Back” movement for the awareness of acid-burn victims, which was covered by over 280 media houses across the globe, including The New York Times, Cosmopolitan, and Vogue. She has also worked closely with the honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the “Make in India” campaign and has also been invited by Galeries Lafayette, Paris to showcase her couture collections alongside international design houses like Armani, Versace, Prada & Gucci.

Her collection “Mauryan”  was really grand and elegant. The show was like no other. The gold collection made me feel like royalty and I couldn’t have asked for more.”
