The electric scooter will be available in 75 cities across 13 states in the coming months, according to the company. The latest product in the electric scooter sector is notable for its stated range of over 240 kilometres on a single charge. The scooter features multiple ride modes that alter the range that may be achieved dependent on the peak speed of 105 km/h. It’s powered by a 7-kilogram 4.8-kWh battery pack that claims a real-world range of 203 kilometres in Eco mode and 236 kilometres in “perfect” circumstances.

The sprint time from 0 to 50 km/h is 3.6 seconds, while the run from 0 to 40 km/h takes an impressive 2.95 seconds. The scooter has a mid-drive motor and a portable battery, as well as smart features like a TFT touchscreen instrument screen with on-the-go navigation, Bluetooth and 4G connectivity, geo-fencing, TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), OTA updates, vehicle tracking, and vacation mode. In addition, the system informs you of the location of the nearest fast charger.

Braking duties are handled by a 200 mm disc brake upfront and a 190 mm unit in the rear. The suspension system consists of telescopic suspension upfront and a monoshock in the rear. The e-scooter can be charged at a rate of 2.5 km per minute thanks to the Simple Loop fast charger. As previously stated, the e-scooter will be launched in 13 states in its initial phase, followed by the addition of more cities in subsequent phases. Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Punjab are among the first-phase states.

In order to scale up fast and begin deliveries, Simple Energy has already constructed company-owned experience centres in cities throughout the aforementioned states. Simple Energy has been in business for three and a half years. The brand currently has 120 vendors and 70+ suppliers, and its Industry 4.0 Factory has a capacity of 10 lakh units. Simple Energy says it plans to build 300+ charging stations in the next three to four months.
