Six-Year-Old TAS, Pune, Student Registered in International Book of Records

A student of The Academy School (TAS) Pune has set a record in the International Book of Records by reciting all the 118 elements of the periodic table of Chemistry at the young age of six. Notably, the International Book of Records awarded him the title of ‘Super Talented Kid’.

Tanush Nilapwar has registered the record of recounting 118 elements of the Chemistry periodic table in 54 seconds. Nilapwar’s achievement is a testament to the TAS tagline of ‘Happy at School’ and its motto of ‘by the Student and for the Student’. The International Book of Records also noted that Nilapwar has an extremely keen memory and found him as ‘One in a Million’. He has also won a Gold medal in the International Olympiad in English, Maths, Science and General knowledge

Dr. Maithili Tambe, CEO of The Academy School (TAS), said Nilapwar is adept at memorisation and possesses an eidetic memory. “Such talents are indeed one in a million. TAS is proud to have him as its student. The atmosphere created at the campus is conducive to honing talent. The teaching activities and the way the teachers explain at a concept level play a huge part in developing interest among students. Once students know what they like, they will definitely excel like Tanush Nilapwar has.”
