Sling TV, America’s leading international and multicultural programming provider has partnered with Voot, an Indian subscription video on demand platform enabling the users to access the contents from India. Owned by Viacom18 Voot will now be exclusively available in the US on Sling TV. With the launch of Voot on Sling TV, its subscribers can access some of the popular and latest Indian shows. These shows include exclusive companion content, web originals, and library contents and are available in three Indian languages: Hindi, Marathi, and Kannada through the Sling TV. Voot was launched at zero cost to selected subscribers including the Sling international subscribers with Hindi, Hindi Gold, Hindi Mega, Hindi Premium, Punjabi Hindi, and Urdu Hindi services. It was offered at the cost of $7 per month as a standalone service. With the inclusion of Voot, owned by Viacom18, a joint venture between ViacomCBS and Network18, Sling TV was able to expand its South Asian contents. Partnership with Voot brings extensive on-demand Indian content to the US, which has never been aired before. Sling TV was aimed at capturing audiences across the US who need to experience high-quality entertaining Indian shows. Sling TV is one of the best live streaming service provider broadcasting more than 700 channels with the contents from 27 countries in 20 languages at the initial cost of only $6 per month. Voot is the home ground of premium multilanguage Indian content across various genres and segments. The television channels are offered through all the major streaming devices smart televisions, smartphones, tablets, computers, game consoles, etc. Sling subscribers in the US can now enjoy popular Indian reality shows such as Dance Deewane, Big Boss, MTV Roadies and MTV Splits villa, and Voot selected web originals including Crackdown, Gone Game, Asur, Illegal and Marzi and Indian dramas like Naagin, Bepannah, etc. The latest partnership of Voot and Sling TV is a huge boost to the Indian television channel industry as well as for the Indian audiences abroad.
