Sony LIV’s acclaimed Marathi original series, Lampan, has added a prestigious accolade to its journey by winning the Best Web Series (OTT) award at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
Based on Prakash Narayan Sant’s timeless novel Vanwas, the series features stellar performances by Geetanjali Kulkarni as Lampan’s Aaji, Chandrakant Kulkarni as Lampan’s Ajoba, Mihir Godbole as the protagonist, Lampan, Kadambari Kadam as Aai, Pushkaraj Chirputkar as Baba and Avani Bhave as Sumi pivotal roles. Produced by Shrirang Godbole, Hrishikesh Deshpande, Amit Patwardhan, and Chintamani Vartak, and directed by Nipun Dharmadhikari, Lampan is a heartwarming celebration of innocence, friendship, and the resilience of the human spirit.
