New Delhi, 11th July 2023: Space Matrix, a leading multinational workplace design and build consultancy firm, has announced the validation of its climate targets by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This marks a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to sustainability and corporate decarbonization.
The Science Based Targets initiative, a collaboration between CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project), the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), World Resources Institute (WRI), and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), validates corporate climate targets. The idea is to ensure they are in line with the objectives of the Paris Agreement and the goal of limiting global warming to well-below 2°C above pre-industrial levels and pursuing efforts to limit warming to 1.5°C.
