Star Bharat unveils new brand identity

With the tagline “Dil Deke Dekho Zara,” Disney Star’s secondary Hindi GEC Star Bharat has revealed a new brand identity.

Dil Deke Dekho Zara is its new slogan (Give Your Heart and See). This replaces the previous Bhula De Dar, Kuch Alag Kar (Forget Fear, Do Something New), which was introduced on August 28, 2017, when the channel was launched in place of the former Life OK. While state broadcaster Doordarshan has been advertising the imminent relaunch of its flagship channel DD National starting Independence Day (15 August) for a few days now, Star Bharat’s rebrand is unexpected because no announcement was made until certain leaks were discovered today.

The new brand identity intends to inspire people to express themselves, fall in love, and follow their hearts by representing the experience of doing so. The channel embraces this shift by presenting itself as a one-stop shop for entertainment with a romantic tone. Its programming will mirror the redesigned brand by highlighting stories of love and romance while keeping universal relationships in the foreground.

Star Bharat needs to reinvent itself at this point and present a new look and feel along with new programming. We are glad to see advancement in this area because romance is a universal language that transcends age, gender, and cultural boundaries. We aspire to make watching television a unified experience for our viewers. With the new brand promise, we’ll keep providing interesting programming and developing popular characters and formats, according to a channel spokesperson.

Along with the new logo and graphics, several new shows will be introduced. Gud Se Meetha Ishq, Woh Toh Hai Albelaa, Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti, and two new serials this month, Bohot Pyaar Karte Hain and Channa Mereya, are just a few of the new shows that Star Bharat has debuted in recent months. From Tuesday (26 July), it will introduce two new serials — Ajooni and Na Umra Ki Seema Ho — that will replace Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti after its grand finale.

The new lineup of content will be accessible to all of India and include programs that will support the brand promise. Additionally, the channel created a brand-new anthem that highlights the new brand promise.
