India, 06 November 2023: Star Health and Allied Insurance, one of India’s leading health insurance specialist, today announced a strategic partnership with Finconvenio Services Private Limited, (Finequs) a technology-powered financial services distribution company, to enhance its presence across India. This tie-up will provide easy access to Health Insurance in over 2500+ pin codes across 28 States and 3 Union territories in India, significantly contributing to IRDAI’s vision 2047 of “Insurance for All”. The tie-up will also provide employment opportunities for many people in small cities and towns across Bharat.

This partnership will provide easy access to Star Health’s wide range of products to people living in small towns and cities, empower over a million local kirana and neighbourhood retail stores owners to provide Health Insurance to their customers, provide an alternate stream income to women entrepreneurs and homemakers while also provide permanent employment opportunities to people in rural India. This tie-up will increase Health Insurance awareness across India and also enhance awareness to insurance in rural India.

Finequs is a technology enabled Start-up, with a mission to deliver credit and financial services, especially to the underserved and unserved at the neighbourhood stores, effectively making the “Credit Invisible being Visible”. The company aims to provide easy access to financial services to every credit worthy Indian across tier 2, tier 3 and rural villages in India.
