Stonehill International School, Bangalore, hosted the International Baccalaureate (IB) Workshop from the 23rd to the 25th of February 2024, fostering collaborative learning and professional development. The event brought together approximately a hundred and thirty-three participants from various IB schools, both locally and internationally from countries such as India, Singapore, China, Republic of Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia, marking a significant milestone in fostering a global community of educators.
With a history of hosting IB workshops in 2018, 2019, and 2020, Stonehill International School was honoured to once again offer a vibrant platform for IB professionals to connect. This year’s workshops featured twelve sessions led by experts from different countries, covering an array of topics, including the pivotal role of librarians, subject-specific seminars on sports, health, exercise, and more.
The workshops transcended conventional subjects, offering insights into various aspects of the IB curriculum. The essence of these workshops was to create a platform for the IB teacher community to connect, network, and share methodologies. Educators seized the opportunity to embrace new ideas and knowledge, fostering a spirit of continuous improvement. A key takeaway from the workshops was the realisation that knowledge in the IB world extends beyond the classroom.
