The concept of Fishbone analysis was devised by Kaoru Ishikawa in 1960s. Fishbone analysis otherwise called as Cause and Effect analysis, identify the possible causes behind a problem raised in an organization. The causes behind the problem are identified by brainstorming on processes, procedures, marketing mix, etc. Through this analysis, organization can find out a solution to the problem and can prevent it from occurring again.
