Sun TV maintained its leadership position within the Southern market too with a mean rating of 2394.54 AMA Sun TV was followed by STAR Maa and ZEE Telugu which clocked in 2295.37 AMA and 1469 06 AMA respectively.

Top 5-Hindi Speaking Market During in the week STAR Plus, Goldmines, Dangal, Colors and

SONY SAB were the highest five channels within the Hindi Speaking Market, including urban and rural Top 5 Channels – Mega Cities

In the Megacities, Sun TV, Colors, STAR Plus, STAR Vijay and SONY SAB cemented their leadership position with Sun TV gamering average ratings of 415.96 AMA.

Sun TV was the top channel in Week 29 as per BARC’s Weekly TV Viewership Data. During this week, from 16th July 2022 to 22nd July 2022 Sun TV garnered average ratings of 2403.14 AMA.

Following Sun TV’s lead, STAR Maa and STAR Plus secured the second and third position. STAR Maa clocked in average ratings of 2350.48 AMA and STAR Plus garnered 1976.86 AMA.

Goldmines, Dangal, Colors, SONY SAB, STAR Pravah, Zee Telugu, STAR Vijay grabbed the remaining slots on the top ten list.

According to Broadcast Audience Research Council (Barc) data for week 48 (27 November to 3 December), Sun TV was the most-watched channel with weekly AMAs of 2861.9 (‘000s).  The Tamil language GEC improved its score over last week when it had garnered 2783.24 AMA to be in this position. Telugu channel Star Maa toppled Star Plus to emerge at number two with 2636.85.
