Bengaluru, September 26, 2024 — The inaugural edition of SURFACEXPO 2024, organized by Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) – Bangalore North, was officially inaugurated today at Gate Number 6, Grand Castle, Palace Grounds. The event was launched by Sri Viplav J G, Director and CEO of Werner Finley, and Sri Rajesh T Ghashi, Managing Director of Chiron Indian Machine Tools Pvt. Ltd. The expo will be open from September 26 to 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This year’s exhibition showcases cutting-edge advancements in surface coating technology and attracts key stakeholders from industries such as defense, aeronautics, and public sector undertakings (PSUs). Sri Sachin Sabnis, President of Laghu Udyog Bharathi – Karnataka, served as the guest of honor. At the same time, Sri K B Kotresh**, retired Regional Officer of KSPCB, Davanagere, attended as a special invitee.
Sanjay P. Bhat, President of LUB – Bangalore North, highlighted the importance of the expo in the surface coating industry. “SURFACEXP 2024 offers an essential platform for professionals to explore the latest technologies and products, while also promoting networking, collaboration, and growth in this rapidly evolving sector,” he stated.
As the event concludes on September 28, SuShri Shobha Karandlaje, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Labour & Employment, Government of India will grace the Valedictory Function. Her presence will mark a significant close to this landmark event, reinforcing SURFACEXPO 2024 as an annual cornerstone for innovation and collaboration within the surface coating industry.
