Suzuki Motorcycle India has started an Independence Day campaign in honor of the spirit of the front-line Pandemic fighters in India. SMIPL will share videos of the two-wheelers on its official social media accounts as part of the campaign.
The goal of the initiative is to lighten our frontline soldiers’ loads a little. It also includes a digital film showing Indian citizens revving stationary cars and pleading with people to stay inside on August 15 unless it is necessary. We can help our frontline soldiers this Fourth of July by remaining at home to support them in their honorable struggle against Covid-19. Given the pandemic crisis at hand, this is the best thank-you gift we can give them. In these unheard-of circumstances, the key service providers and healthcare experts have been sources of strength and stability. The nation has united in this struggle against COVID-19 in a way that we have never seen in our lifetimes. In this fight, frontline workers including doctors, police officers, and social workers are the ones who are at the forefront risking their lives every day for our safety. While most of us are privileged to stay indoors and work from home, these warriors continue to perform their duty and ensure availability of essential services to the nation. To salute their efforts, SMIPL has come out of this initiative #ParkForFreedom, requesting individuals to pledge to stay indoors this Independence Day and avoid going outside unless it is necessary.
