Tanishaa Mukerji gets nostalgic about her fondest Diwali memory, shares a special heartwarming story for fans

Diwali is indeed the most awaited and special festival in the country and those days are extremely auspicious indeed. For the gorgeous and talented actress, Tanishaa Mukerji, things are no different. Just like anyone else, Tanishaa too likes to take a breather from her usual busy schedule during Diwali to regroup with family and close friends and spend some valuable time with them. This year as well, the actress is all set for the wonderful festival and shares her plans. However alongside that, she also reveals her most favourite and heartwarming Diwali memory from childhood that makes her nostalgic. The actress shares and we quote,
“Well, my most favourite and absolutely heartwarming Diwali memory would be from childhood when our mother used to take us to Lonavala for celebration as we used to have a house there. The house there was absolutely beautiful and had a garden and that certainly means you have got good enough space to celebrate outdoors bursting crackers and stuff. Those days used to be super fun indeed. As far as now is concerned, the pattern of celebration has changed. Now, it’s just about chilling with family and close friends, enjoying some yummy delicacies and being around your favourites. I don’t even indulge in Diwali-special shopping because I genuinely believe in reusing, recycling and re-styling as it is very important for the environment. I love wearing my mom’s old sarees and my sister keeps sending me stuff. I believe that if we take care of our clothes, we can wear them much longer. Also, I do buy gold and bartan on Dhanteras as that’s a part of our family tradition. I believe in the traditions of our country and the spiritual part of Diwali is so beautiful. Every year, it’s about celebrating Diwali with family but this year, I am here on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. So, for me, Diwali this year would be on sets of the same where it’s a blend of celebration and work. I will definitely miss my family but I am also looking forward to this new experience. Also, my message to everyone would be to please avoid crackers. The celebration can be equally nice with just lights and people around you. Let’s ensure we don’t harm the environment with mindless pollution, something that causes severe pain for strays and birds. It’s been many years I have stopped using firecrackers and so I am only preaching what I practice myself for many years. Wishing everyone a very happy and safe Diwali 2023.”
On the work front, Tanishaa is set to have interesting projects going forward, the announcements of which will happen soon as per the ideal timelines. Stay tuned for more updates.
