Tanishaa Mukerji has certainly mastered the art of balancing between personal and professional life. While her professional commitments are plenty right now as she’s slaying in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 11 presently, she certainly did manage to take out time from her schedule to spend the all-important Bhai Dooj aka ‘Bhai phota’ with her brothers. Yes, that’s right. Tanishaa’s brothers made her extremely happy as they turned up at her house on this auspicious day and well, the happiness and sheer joy on Tanishaa’s face in her latest post tells it all about how she felt at that time. Tanishaa took to her social media handle to share some amazing and wonderful snaps alongside a video from the celebrations and well, that’s truly the perfect ‘family gathering’ indeed. While the selfies and snaps made all happy, the video in the post is perhaps the cutest part. In the footage, Tanishaa can be seen reciting the auspicious Bengali ‘Bhai fota’ mantra while putting the ‘fota’ on her brother’s forehead and well, both of them are seen at their absolute candid best. Regarding her bonding with her brothers, the actress shares and we quote,
“Well, I truly believe that brother and sister relationships are like Tom & Jerry. They tease and irritate each other, knock each other down but at the same time, they can’t live without each other. As far as my bonding is concerned with my brothers, it is no different. Bhai fota is a tradition and celebration which has always been an important part of our culture and I love it. It’s genuinely important to embrace this beautiful bond and that’s why, no matter how busy or occupied we are in our respective lives, we always take time out on this day for a bit of a family reunion. It was a brilliant feeling having everyone at home. We cracked jokes about our good old days from childhood, ate good food together and enjoyed a nice family moment. This was refreshing for me indeed.”
