Tata motors, One of the emerging manufacturer company has teased through its new variant of Tata Tiago NRG.This variant is expected to fall under an affordable price range.The new variant is expected to be the XT variant of Tiago.
In the late 2021 Tata relaunched the BS6 compliant Tata Tiago NRG. Followed with some limitations that variant, The new Teaser video is more likely that Tata will prevail over the limitation of single top spec with a manual and AMT version.It is expected that the new variant will be introduced into the market in the coming weeks. Although,The official date of release has not been revealed yet.
As for now,The details of the new variant is limited. Many features are expected and Tata Tiago NRG will get cosmetic changes, Which includes plastic cladding around the wheel arches, roof rails, a rear wiper, a black roof and a gloss black inserts inside the cabin. As per the thoughts, the price of the XT variant is said to be lesser than the regular Tata Tiago variant. The price of the new variant is expected to be less than Rs.25,000 to Rs.30,000 than the existing variant.
Mechanically, The Tata Tiago NRG XT variant will be powered by the same 1.2 L petrol engine that does duty on the standard Tiago. The Moto of the new variant is expected to produce 84 bhp and 113Nm of torque. The transmission option include a five speed manual and an AMT unit.
The price of Tiago NRG starts at Rs. 6.82 lakhs. The current variant of Tata Tiago comes copulated to a five-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed AMT. It is elusive for now, whether the new variant of Tiago will come with the AMT gearbox or not. For a special rugged stance, Tata motors has also increased the ground clearance of the upcoming NRG over the regular Tiago has a ground clearance of 170 mm. Tata Motors has added 11 mm of additional ground clearance to help the hatchback in tackling the bad roads in a better and more secure way.
