On July 4 Tech Mahindra inaugurated its new campus at the Tidel Park in Coimbatore. Their main plan is to expand their roots to small cities and towns which will help set up the talent supply bases.
The IT services primary is planning to hire 1000 associates in FY22-23. Which will be able to develop an opportunity for the budding youth and create employment opportunities.
The campus is said to be 10000 sq.ft.they want to tap local talent and provide flexibility to the existing associates who are wanting to work from their hometowns.
The Tech Mahindra CEO and MD CP Gurnani said about the way Indian systems work. The kids who will not be able to leave their hometowns and go to some big cities due to social reasons or girls will not able to leave, and this will help them in tapping into their talent, and this is what benefited him in going to these smaller cities.
Harshvendra Soin, Global Chief People Officer and Head – Of marketing, Tech Mahindra, said that “At the Tech Mahindra, they would believe that tier-2 and tier-3 cities are buding as the future talent hubs and has the potential to go into next phase of development and their biggest aim is on FY’22-23 which will be to create a more diverse and inclusive talent pool.”
The new campus will have a developed technology stack about Intelligent Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Full-stack development, Customer Experience (CX), and other next-gen Application Development and Management Skills (ADMS).
It was inuagrated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin in the presence of Sriram K, Sr. Vice President, Enterprise Americas, Tech Mahindra.
