Tejal Engman has been named Senior Vice President of Investor Relations at DoubleVerify, a leading software platform for digital media measurement, data, and analytics.Engman will be the key point of contact for investors and analysts, as well as spearhead financial communications about the company’s strategies, performance, and objectives. Tejal will report to DV’s Chief Financial Officer, Nicola Allais.
Tejal’s considerable expertise, expertise, and demonstrated ability to manage organizations through complicated financial difficulties, according to Allais, makes her an ideal addition to the team at such a key time in the growth and global scaling of our organization. He looks forward to Tejal’s leadership as they continue to lead the industry in media quality verification and performance while also providing long-term value to our shareholders.
Engman most recently served as the SVP of Investor Relations at Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (NASDAQ: HST), the nation’s biggest hotel real estate investment trust, where she was in charge of revamping the company’s Investor Relations operation.
Throughout her time at Host, Engman assisted the company in navigating an extraordinary lodging crisis last year, gaining market share, and strategically acquiring assets to boost EBITDA* growth during the pandemic recovery.
Before joining Host, Engman served as Vice President of Investor Relations at Washington Real Estate Investment Trust (WashREIT), where he was heavily involved in accounting, tax, capital markets, and financial reporting decisions. She also played a key role in the execution of a follow-on public offering of roughly 4.6 million shares for about $130 million in gross proceeds.
Engman moved to Investor Relations after a decade in institutional equities research sales at Citigroup, JPMorgan, and Deutsche Bank, where she learned how investors assess public businesses, capital markets transactions, and management team success.
