The Academy School (TAS), Pune, is now the best school in innovative learning in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) of the year. TAS won the award at the Times Education Icons 2022. TAS is an ICSE board school and is one of the first schools in Maharashtra to adopt the National Education Policy (NEP) model 2020 and follows the Finnish pedagogy.
The award of Best Innovative Learning School was presented by Maharashtra’s Cabinet Minister Uday Samant at a gala event held in Pune. It is given to schools that keep education their first priority even while evolving and innovating several ways to instil knowledge into students’ minds.
“We are really happy to have received the recognition. We, at TAS, constantly strive to make the student happy while learning, which is of prime importance. The whole point is to enlighten the students and uplift society. Education is not merely a tool to disseminate information, it is to help a person make an informed choice about the knowledge he/she receives,” said Dr Maithili Tambe, CEO, TAS.
The Academy School in a very less span of time has become the most preferred ICSE school in Pune, Maharashtra and has received several recognitions. Recently, Saroj Raman, Principal, TAS, received an award for the top schools of Pune at the Eldrok India K-12 Summit 2022.
