The Art Exchange Project presents their 6th Group Art Show, Evoke – Ignite, Awaken, Stir at The Stainless Gallery, Mira Corporate Suites, Mathura Road, New Delhi. The exhibition will showcase works by 16 artists in the medium of their choice and will be on from Saturday, April 13th, 2024 until Tuesday, April 16th, 2024. The show was inaugurated by Dr. Shankari Murali, the Additional Controller General of Accounts on Friday, April 12th, 2024.
Curated by Founder of The Art Exchange Project and Visual ArtistAarti Uppal Singla, the show will be a collection of paintings, digital art, collages, photographs and enamel pieces created by 16 artists from Delhi NCR, Haryana and Rajasthan.
Chief Guest Dr. Shankari Murali, the Additional Controller General of Accounts said, “Evoke – a beautifully put together show in an elegant gallery. Deriving inspiration from a range of themes – trees, seasons, wetlands, flora, fauna, the cosmos, divinity, the very universe, the works of these brilliant artists share a bit of their perspectives shaped in different media. Each wonderful piece of art beckons us not merely towards itself but also within ourselves to chart the landscapes that they Evoke within each of us.
“Evoke” serves as a testament to the profound impact art can have in eliciting a response from the depths of our being. With each stroke of the brush, each intricate detail meticulously created, “Evoke” beckons forth a kaleidoscope of sensations. Here, the definition of evoke finds its truest expression as viewers are transported into a realm where the boundaries between perception and reality blur.
The show presents works of 16 artists in different mediums and styles. Each artist takes up a subject matter close to them and evokes in the onlooker their personal connection with that art.
The participating artists are Aarti Uppal Singla, Harsh Jalendra, Indraneel Ghose, Kavita Lomror, Khushroo Kalyanwala, Madhav Bhardawaj, Reena Chopra, Ritu Chopra, Sarla Chandra (Senior Artist), Shivam Sehgal, Shravani Dang, Sujata Khanna, Sushil Bhasin, Sushil Thakur, Tushar Nath and Winnie Singh.

The gallery will give the viewers an opportunity to be enveloped by the evocative power of art. As one wanders among the art pieces on display, they may find themselves stirred, moved and ultimately transformed by the profound beauty that lies within.
Making the experience more interactive, workshops, talks and movie screenings will be conducted to instil the real essence of the art show, the schedule is as follows:
– Saturday, April 13th, 2024: Movie Screening of Tolma village a documentary film by Ritu Chopra (Official selection for CBFF 2022) @ 3.30pm
– Sunday, April 14th, 2024:  Enamel Jewellry Making by Kaita Lomror @11.30am –2.30pm
– Sunday, April 14th, 2024:  Bohemian Art by Shivam Sehgal @3.30pm – 5.30pm
– Monday, April 15th 2024:  Artistic gift wrapping by Ankush Agarwal @2.30pm – 4.30pm
