The boAt has announced its expansion of team to steer growth

Imagine Marketing Limited is one of India’s #1 ranking wireless wearables brands (about volume over multiple quarters from the year 2019 to the second quarter of the year 2022 under its flagship brand “boAt”) announces several new appointments to the leadership team, proclaiming its focus to building on a top-notch team to bring the next phase of growth. The company has immensely increased its workforce by over 110 employees and now it is over 300 boAtheads strong.  

Key features:  

Prejith Narayan, the Chief Business Officer, brings with him over 12 years of experience after serving the industry juggernauts like Amazon, Aditya Birla Group, and IBM. During his skimp on Amazon, Prejith led many key categories like Wireless Audio, Wearables, PCA, and Beauty products.  

Charmie Awasthi, who has been recently appointed as Chief Human Resource Officer brings with her rich professional experience of over 17 years in media amalgamations like Viacom 18 and Zee Entertainment. During her professional career, she has partnered with & consulted business leaders on People Strategies and Practiced to enable organizational growth and development. She is specialized in Organization Design, Leadership Development, Change Management, Coaching & Mentoring, and Performance Management.    

Shyam Vedantam, who has also joined the deck as a Chief Product Delivery Officer, comes in with over two decades of great experience as a tech business leader and an entrepreneur.   

Rakshit Gupta will be taking up the responsibility for spearheading the CX initiatives as the Head of Customer Experience at boAt. His experience in areas like strategy, product, and operations in Swiggy, The Boston Consulting Group, and Flipkart, is certainly an add-on to the value of all the new customers’ delight and initiatives that the company is set to rush in.   

Vibhor Jain, who was recently appointed as the Head of E-Commerce, brings with him a lot of experience across e-commerce, electronics, and FMCG sector with big industries like Tata Liq, Appario Retail, Patanjali, and TCS where he worked in roles around Corporate Strategy, Business Development & Category Management.   

Speaking about roles in brand strategy, market research, innovation, P&L management, and new product development, Aman Brara has also joined as the Head of Wearables. He is known for building up businesses and brands. He has worked with Reckitt and Godrej Consumer Products Limited earlier and he is very passionate about taking the company to greater heights.
