Four important senior-level appointments have been made by Afcom Holdings Private Limited, a professionally managed international cargo airline with its headquarters in Chennai.
The Chief Commercial Officer has been appointed as Mr. Kochat Narendran (CCO). Because he has held senior management positions with Hindustan Cargo, DTDC Nikkos, Continental Carriers, and DHL Worldwide, he has an in-depth understanding of the cargo (particularly air cargo) sector. Kochat won two international awards for his HR and business strategies while serving as the managing director of the Thomas Cook (India) Cargo Division (Hindustan Cargo Ltd.) and at Yusen Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. brings knowledge of direct sales expertise with her, having held positions as the head of profit centers for businesses including DHL, TNT India, Yusen Logistics India, and Continental carriers.
The Chief Sales Officer has been hired, and his name is Mr. Anish David. He has 30 years of sales expertise as well as excellent experience in the courier and logistics industries. He previously held the positions of Country Head for S-Net Cargo and National Head at Unitex Logistics. Before that, he worked as the “Branch Manager” for “Aramex International Courier,” an organization with its headquarters in Jordan and a significant customer in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, and Africa.
As the new General Manager of Cargo Operations, Mr. S. N. Ashok has joined. Before this, he had important operational roles at Cargolux Airlines and Korean Air before working as the cargo operations manager at Emirates. In his previous organizations, he was exposed to commercials.
As the new Chief Operating Officer, Mr. P. K. Raghunathan (COO). He has multi-disciplinary experience from working for companies like HSBC, Max New York Life Insurance, Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance, and Flyington Freighters Pvt Ltd. In addition, Raghunathan works as a qualified coach and trainer for senior executives of multinational companies.

Deepak Parasuraman, Chairman of Ofcom Holdings Private Limited, welcomed the new team members, saying, “Afcom is presently one of India’s very few innovation-driven air cargo enterprises that have customers at its center.
