Kolkata, 20th November 2024: Femina, India’s leading women’s lifestyle brand, presented the prestigious Femina Achievers 2024 East powered by Nemichand Bamalwa & Sons (J), in association with Packman, at ITC Royal Bengal on November 15, 2024, honouring individuals who have made a significant impact across various fields. The event brought together socialites, celebrities, influencers, and thought leaders, celebrating excellence and inspiring conversations.
In the presence of esteemed dignitaries such as Nicolas Facino, Executive Director of Alliance Française du Bengale, and Dr Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner to East & North East India, Femina honoured exceptional individuals from diverse fields. The event recognised remarkable achievers, including Raima Sen, Churni Ganguly, Koushani Mukherjee, Sauraseni Maitra, Swastika Mukherjee, and Iman Chakraborty for Excellence in the Performing Arts, along with many others who were honoured in different categories. Receiving her award for Excellence in Music, Barnali Chattopadhyay sang a few lines from the popular series Heera Mandi for the audience, while Swastika Mukherjee spoke about her experience for her first cover for Femina Bangla in 2014. Dolly Jain, who was honoured for Excellence in Fashion Influence & Innovation, shared interesting insights about how she needs 18.5 seconds to drape her sari and she is ready for any event.
