Mumbai, 18th November, 2024 – Skechers, The Comfort Technology Company®, successfully wrapped up the fifth edition of the Skechers Walkathon at Inorbit Mall in Malad. This year’s Walkathon brought together thousands of fitness enthusiasts and took a step further in promoting sports development by donating a portion of registration proceeds to GoSports Foundation. This initiative underlines Skechers’ commitment to supporting the next generation of Indian athletes.
Bollywood star Ananya Panday and Indian football icon Sunil Chhetri graced the event with popular influencers actress-veejay Gaelyn Mendonca and actor-content creators Viraj Ghelani and Karan Sonwane, who inspired participants with their commitment to fitness and community engagement.

Following the tradition of previous editions, the Walkathon offered three categories tailored to different fitness levels. The 10 km-timed walk provided a challenge for seasoned walkers, the 5 km-timed walk was ideal for people aspiring to take up walking as a sport, and the 3 km fun walk offered a family-friendly experience, making it a hit with participants of all ages. The scenic route around Malad’s Inorbit Mall enhanced the event with a variety of entertainment zones.
