With the popularity of food delivery apps opening up as the pandemic slowly fades away, it is the perfect time for new players to enter into the changing market. The latest big player to enter the field is Qmin, the food delivery app from the Indian Hotel Company Limited (IHCL) who runs the Taj hotel chain. The app was launched in Delhi on July 17th of this year. The app mainly focuses on the gourmet dishes that are being sold at their Hotel Chains. To promote their campaign in an environmental way, they even introduced eco-friendly packing for all the dishes.

Providing service to such a niche market seems to be working for them as they have been expanding at a steady pace. They recently opened service for the Cochin in association with three hotels Riceboat, Pavillion, and Pepper. Qmin means to offer a different approach to the delivery experience with an enhanced focus on maintaining strict protocols of safety and hygiene. This includes contact-less delivery and the mandatory use of protective gear for delivery executives in vehicles that have been properly sanitized. As part of their festive marketing campaign The Holiday Soirée, aspecially curated menu for the holiday season has been created. The menu offers an extensive array of Asian, Indian, and European delights. the festive menu also features traditional holiday favorites, sweet treats, and kids menus from across Taj, Vivanta, and SeleQtions hotels. To promote their menu the Qmin festive menus bring along an exclusive virtual music performance by the world-renowned Shillong Chamber Choir. Holiday classics such as Christmas Pudding, Raspberry Pistachio Cheesecake, and Créme Caramel are to be offered as part of the menu. Customers will be able to pre-book your holiday soiree menu starting December 18, 2020, on Qmin, Qmin App, or 1800-266-7646.
