Sept 26, 2012: As part of strategic expansion, The Leela Palaces and Hotels plans to add 1500 rooms in next five years. According to the official sources, the group will open 10 new hotels with an average of 100 to 150 rooms and will total up the number of rooms to 3500 from the current number 2000.
The group also announced that they will launch “Essence”, the entry level five star hotel across the country along with opening of new hotels. The Mumbai based hotel chain plans to widen its footprints across the country by opening up new rooms.
