The new low-speed electric scooter— E2Go— is introduced by Odysse Electric Vehicles at a starting price of Rs 55,4999. Without registration, insurance, or a driving license, the E2Go can be driven.
Nemin Vora, CEO of Odysse Electric Vehicles private Ltd, said, “The E2Go is targeted towards the metropolitan women and young customers where everyone wants to have mobility in their own hands at a reasonable entry price without any trouble of registration process or license,”
The different versions of Odysse E2Go electric scooters are E2Go with VRLA battery and E2Go Lite with a lithium-ion battery which is priced at Rs55,499(Ex-Showroom) and Rs66,499 (Ex-Showroom) respectively.
A waterproof 250W BLDC motor that is coupled with either a 28AH lead-acid battery or a 1.26kWh lithium-ion battery, depending on the variant, is at the core of the new E2Go electric scooter. Throughout 3.5-4 hours, the battery can be completely juiced up. Odysse Electric Vehicles says that with a single full charge, the E2Go has a maximum speed of 25kmph and a range of 60km.
The Odysse E2Go electric scooter is designed with dual spring hydraulic shocks and telescopic front forks at the rear. The front and rear of this scooter are tubeless tyres. A disc brake on the front is also available, while a drum is available on the back.
Among other popular features are a digital instrument panel, anti-theft lock, USB charging, reverse gear operation, three drive modes. The lithium-ion battery has a three-year warranty. There are five colour choices available for the new E2Go electric scooter— Azure Blue, Scarlet Red, Teal Green, Midnight Black, and Matte Black.
Odysse Electric Vehicles has nine dealerships throughout the country, and a service center is also operated by each outlet. By March 2021, the company going to start 10 new dealerships.
