COVID-19 has locked down the entire world for more than a period of 4 months. This had badly affected not only the people but also the entire economy in all ways. Apart from the monetary loss each utilizes is facing, there is a huge loss in the field of marketing and business area.

The pandemic has disrupted our behaviours, playing with an Artificial Intelligence system. MIT Technology has conducted a study in the field and reported that a number of AI systems are breaking down in the content of the COVID-19 pandemic. The coronavirus and lockdown days made a huge impact in the field of AI systems. Artificial Intelligence can be used during the time of the COVID 19 crisis. But it is difficult to create new algorithms to address COVID 19 problems, but this same issue also poses problems for the pre-existing Artificial Intelligence system.

As the pandemic is out of control, it’s the time to revisit Artificial Intelligence systems currently deployed in the organization and assess whether they are still viable in this COVID 19 era. Almost all Artificial Intelligence systems are using machine learning, which is working by examining a large amount of collected or training data that was collected in the past of the task.

The machine learning approach is a good way where new cases are similar to the examples in the training data. AI systems may faultier of new factors become important that were not considered in the original design.

There are two aspects in the AI system which is being under the examination of experts in the same field. The first aspect deals with the source of the training data and the second aspect deals with the question to what extent is the training data still relevant today. They also discuss the factors the system considers and the assumption about the cause and of the effect.

Despite its reputation as a disruptive technology AI doesn’t handle disruption well. Regular monitoring and revisiting are of high importance in the AI system. Rather than getting the lost in the technical details, though, the most important step in monitoring and AI system is understanding the change in the landscape.
