Wednesday, 22nd June, India: Treebo Hotels, India’s fastest growing chain of budget hotels announced the appointment of Purvaja Prabhakar as its Head of People function. In her new role, Purvaja will be responsible for delivering on the company’s aggressive talent acquisition requirements, nurturing high performing teams, and preserving and strengthening the company’s culture. She will be based out of the company’s headquarters at Bangalore. She will also be responsible for these activities for the company’s SaaS business, Hotel Superhero.
Purvaja is a seasoned HR leader with more than 13 years of experience in multiple dimensions of human resources. Prior to this role, she spent most of her career at McKinsey & Company where she was responsible for leading the talent acquisition efforts of the India and Middle East offices. She has also had stints with Entrepreneur First and Deloitte.
