In an interesting turn of events, on March 31st, Karan Virwani, CEO, WeWork India, took to Instagram to announce WeWork India’s first-ever giveaway. One lucky person with the quirkiest answer stood a chance to win a free 12 seater WeWork office. Sounds pretty simple, but there was a plot twist no one saw coming and what started out as a simple April Fools prank ended up being a dream come true for an entrepreneur.
In under 24 hours, the brand saw an outpour of love with over 10K likes and 150+ witty, funny and heartfelt comments, reflective of the trust and love built, along with a community of collaborators and creators. Fueled by the overwhelming responses on the post, WeWork India abandoned the idea of the prank and decided to actually give away a 12-person private office.

The winner will be going to work in an office approximately worth INR 20 lakhs, and five lucky participants who followed the rules of engagement got their hands on complimentary On-demand passes, which will allow them to come and work out of any WeWork India location of their choice.
