Unilever to buy Paula’s Choice skincare

Unilever- London on 14/06/2021 publicized it has contracted an agreement to obtain the foremost digital-led skincare brand Paula’s Choice from TA Associates. Paula’s Choice is a forerunner of science-assisted products and direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce.

Started by Paula Begoun in 1995, the brand is renowned for its industry-leading modernization, available jargon-free science, high functioning ingredients, and cruelty-free goods. Paula’s Choice proposal commanding content and digital equipment to interpret the science behind skincare, together with a widespread “Integral Dictionary” that breakdowns the study behind nearly 4,000 ingredients, and Expert Assistance, a curated online centre of skincare and ingredient information.

Vasiliki Petrou, Unilever EVP and CEO Prestige, said they are electrified that Paula’s Choice will join the Unilever Prestige family. Paula’s Choice is an accurate forerunner in the digital area for beauty and has created a mission-based brand that originated in truth and transparency. The brand is disseminated through worldwide DTC and select respected retailers in North America, Europe, and Asia. Standings of the deal were not revealed. The deal is expected to near in Q3 2021.
