  • Selected Applicants will receive a 3 month long internship centred around contributing to Digital Public Goods (DPG), Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), and tech building blocks with use cases in social impact.
  • The challenge is open to students, working professionals and anyone who is a tech enthusiast or interested in product design, and willing to contribute to open-source projects.

Unstop, the talent engagement and hiring platform for students and graduates, has joined hands with Code for GovTech for the third edition of the Dedicated Mentoring Program (DMP), an internship opportunity for select contributors to work with mentors from leading open-source tech organizations working towards social impact. Code for GovTech (C4GT) is an ecosystem initiative with a mission to build a community of developers around open-source tech building blocks with social impact use cases for the attainment of Sustainable Development Goals.

DMP provides a lucrative stipend of INR 1 lakh over a period of 3 months, dedicated 1:1 mentorship by industry experts, hands-on experience to hone your skills, access to bootcamps and expert sessions, potential job / extended internship opportunities and an opportunity to network with global open-source tech leaders for selected applicants.

Focused on enabling upskilling and the country’s progression, Unstop’s partnership with C4GT will enable participants to contribute to high impact population scale projects by leveraging their skills while acquiring new ones.

Mr. Ankit Aggarwal, Founder and CEO of Unstop, expressed his thoughts. “We are pleased to announce Unstop’s association with Code for GovTech for the Dedicated Mentoring Program, offering participants potential future job opportunities in the form of PPIs and PPOs from participating organizations upon successful completion of the internship. This initiative allows students, professionals and technology enthusiasts to work on problem statements that will lead to at scale social impact, making India ‘Unstoppable’. We look forward to continuing this association and providing a platform for budding coding enthusiasts.”

DMP is open to technology enthusiasts who possess the skill set mentioned in the project requirements, are interested in coding or product design (user research and UI/UX design), and are willing to contribute to open-source projects.
