CRED the credit card bill payment platform exclusive to only their members announced that they are introducing CRED Pay an instant one click payment to their members on credit cards. As far of now this new payment experience is restricted to selected platforms only. The team is working on enabling this option in all platforms. They also informed that the CRED pay option will be available on Big Basket, Dineout, ixigo in the next two months
Kunal shah the founder of CRED said that the new update CRED Pay permit instant transactions with secure and safe payments on their credit cards
The CRED also offer their members to gain rewards from luxury brands and gain coins for their payments.
This update is done after giving the trail experience to 30 merchants who done largest payments and their most happy and loyal customers. The 30 merchants who participated in this program seemed to spend 40% more on average of all the consumers in their shopping’s. The 30 merchants are Man Company, Man Matters, Epigamia, Damensch, and Vahdam Teas etc…
The update cred is with partnership with Razor pay and Visa.
T R Ramachandran, the Group Country Manager, India of Visa expressed his delectation saying, “As people get more familiar with credit cards, it is important to reduce the points of friction in digital payments in order to improve customer stickiness. We are delighted to provide this safe, instant, one-click checkout experience through Visa Safe Click on CRED Pay.” He even said that now, CRED Pay is integrated with Visa Safe Click, a new feature by Visa that eliminates the need for an OTP and CVV for transactions under INR 2000
And Hashil Mathur the CEO and Co- founder of Razorpay stated his felicity saying that their company has experienced 30% growth for demand in credit cards on their platform. He said he is happy with this collaboration and looking forward to work with them in future also.
The CRED reward their members by giving them offer to premier and luxury brands with which they are partnered at the end of their every bill payment cycle. The members can spend their CRED coins to claim the exclusive offers on their purchases.
