An essential component of a woman’s self-care routine is grooming. At least once a month, they typically have grooming services performed, with hair removal and waxing being the most popular salon services. In a commercial starring Yami Gautam, Urban Company has once again used technology to facilitate a smooth, rash-free waxing experience with its Roll-on waxing service.

The purpose of this campaign, which was created and carried out by Taproot Dentsu for Urban Company Salon At Home, is to raise awareness of this special roll-on wax product. A top-notch waxing product that is completely devoid of colophony, has no side effects, and provides a uniform application and heating to prevent skin burns.

The campaign’s creative director, Arshad Shaikh, explained that the goal was to address the consumer’s waxing problems through a conversation between two friends. Many women continue to use their traditional or local waxing techniques despite the effects on their skin. We wanted to emphasise through this movie that the culprits in the common wax that’s causing their skin reactions are the evil guys.

Smit Shukla, VP, Marketing & Growth, stated that 90% of women in India still use tin wax since they are not aware of any better alternatives. Because it might be challenging to find the right version for their skin type, many women wind up with burns, redness, or rashes. Through this campaign, we’re giving ladies a better waxing experience by introducing Urban Company Roll-On Wax. Our most recent product includes a temperature-controlled applicator and is completely free of colophony. Urban Company strives to make things as simple as possible for its consumers, and the excellent waxing solution provided by UC Roll-On certainly does that.

Roll-on waxing technology, according to Urban Company, enabled more than 50% of deliveries for waxing services, with demand rising during the pandemic as women grew more hygienically aware. Apart from Tier 2 towns like Jaipur and Chandigarh, Tier 1 metro areas like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru have seen an increase in demand for roll-on waxing. Given that the company’s roll-on waxing technology is low-pain, clean, and promotes hygiene, consumers have begun to like it more.

While people have started leaving their homes, Rahul Deorah, VP Marketing – Urban Company said: “The comfort of obtaining salon services at home has developed as a pan-India trend.
