Viacom18 made an announcement that it will launch a Hindi movie channel called Rishtey Cineplex. It will be the very first channel to be launched in the genre from the network of Viacom18. It already has Hindi GEC Colors and others.
As per an official statement made by the network, the launch of the new channel Rishtey Cineplex’s paves way for the upcoming film acquisitions. This channel has acquired the copyrights to telecast latest Bollywood flicks such as Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Airlift and Bajirao Mastani.
The Group CEO of Viacom18, Sudhanshu Vats stated that they are committed to strengthen their portfolio continuously across genres, age groups, and languages. Rishtey Complex is the prime milestone in their journey. This movie channel will boost the reach of the network across the country and help them dial-up their engagement levels with their viewers. The channel will let them provide 360 degree value to their advertisers creating a higher number of opportunities for on-air promotions letting optimization of the ad inventory that will span across the network.
The CEO of Colors and Rishtey channels, Raj Nayak stated that they have scripted a huge success story for the channel Colors and it is extended into the regional languages as well as English entertainment. They are now all set to offer momentum to the new Rishtey brand with the introduction of their exclusive Hindi movies channel called Rishtey Cineplex.
