Videocon Mobile Services to rollout 4G in seven telecom circles

March 15, 2013: Videocon Mobile services is planning to roll out 4G services in seven telecom circle in which it has presence as part of its 20 year long ambitious journey with modern technology. Plan of the company is to roll out 4G services by the end of 2013. Videocon has some very ambitious plans for the future and is trying to redefine the whole business of telecom. They are aiming at a good presence in the telecom market and want to be as popular as they are with their washing machines and television sets.

The company plans to offer 4G services at a very competitive price which would be lower than what the competitors are charging now. According to Arvind Bali, Director and CEO, Videocon Mobile Services, ““We will provide very high speed at a price 15-20 per cent lower than other telecom players. And we will maintain price levels for three years.”

Videocon Mobile Services as part of its long term strategy has started setting up a large call centre in Bharuch which would have 1000 seats. Once this becomes operational in April, Videocon would become the first mobile operator who would be having their own call centre. “Experience Zones” will also be set up by Videocon to enhance direct customer service.
