Dec 6, 2012: Videocon which recently won 2G spectrum for six circles announced that it will be launching its Long Term Evaluation (LTE) services by 2013. Videocon won the spectrum for Gujarat UP West, UP East, Jharkhand, Bihar, MP-Chattisgarh and Haryana. Videocon is planning to use this spectrum to roll out services by adapting 4G technology LTE and with this they intend to cover 45% of the Indian population. With this high performance LTE, users will be able to experience applications like Maps, video streaming, hi-speed internet access etc.
