Feb 26, 2013: Close on the heels of launching DEO2 and anti microbial deo-treatment, Vimal has announced the launch of a new technology product ‘Protector’, a four in one hygiene uniform fabric. This product is considered as innovative and breakthrough product which gives a unique protection to the garment and enhances the life of the same. ‘Protector’ is said to be specially made for tropical countries like India where the chances of growth of bacteria and fungi are more.
The new technology product is said to have anti dust, anti microbial, stain release and anti pollen properties which fights bacteria and gives longer life to the garment. According to Anand Parekh, President, RIL, Textile Division, “Protector, with its anti-dust, stain-release, anti-microbial and anti-pollen properties, is high on fashion and also helps consumers to deal with humid and sultry climates without exposure to microbial infection”
The new Protector has a good effect for 20 home washes and helpful in removing daily stains like oil, coffee and tea. Its anti microbial property works to cut down bad odour for nearly 100 home washes. This product from Vimal, the flagship textile brand of Reliance Industries Ltd. is surely going to create a niche in the fashion apparel industry and we are going to see more companies adopting the same technology or a modified version of this in the coming days.
