VKC Pride ‘Shop Local-2’ campaign extended till October 31

Kozhikode: The second phase of the Shop Local campaign launched by VKC Pride to promote small entrepreneurs and neighbourhood businesses has been extended till October 31 with exciting cash and gold prizes. Customers who are purchasing VKC products from their neighbourhood shops have the chance of winning a bumper prize of Rs 1 lakh. 100 winners will also get gold coins weighing one gram each.

The second edition of the shop local campaign was launched on the occasion of Onam celebrations. The first phase of the campaign was a huge success in various states and had benefitted over 2.5 lakh small traders across the country.

“Shop Local Phase 2 will also be extended throughout the country with various schemes to empower small traders and neighbourhood businesses to enable them to survive the competition from the online retailers.  We strongly believe that this will give a fillip to the local economies,” VKC Group Managing Director VKC Razak said.
