Navi Mumbai, 7th January 2025: Walplast, a leading manufacturer of building and construction materials, reaffirmed its commitment to empowering underprivileged young girls through its CSR arm, Walplast Welfare Foundation. In collaboration with Project Nanhi Kali, Walplast organized impactful year-end events in Prayagraj and Varanasi, reaching out to over 100 girls from grades VI to IX, providing them with essential academic resources and life skills support.

The year-end events brought together Walplast employees, local stakeholders, and community members, fostering an environment of joy, learning, and connection. Designed to inspire and engage, the celebrations featured storytelling sessions, art and crafts activities, interactive quizzes, a magic show, information on child rights and short film screenings focused on the value of education, self-belief, and resilience. Each participating girl received school supply kits, underscoring Walplast’s practical support toward their educational aspirations.
