Eurosport India, “the home of world-class sports titles” has won the broadcasting rights for the FIA Formula 2 Championship. With enthralling eight rounds, comprising of 3 races per round, motorsports fans are geared up for the 24-race season.
After an action-packed round-2 weekend in Monaco, fans and motorsports enthusiasts are awaiting the upcoming Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2021, which will take place over 51 laps of the 6.003- kilometre Baku City Circuit on Sunday, June 6.
The fifth FIA Formula 2 season commenced with the Bahrain Grand Prix 2021 on Sunday, 28 March and will end with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2021, which will take place over the Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday, December 12.
The 2021 FIA Formula 2 Championship will also visit iconic circuits such as Silverstone, Monza, Sochi and Jeddah. The championship is spread over eight weekends with two sprint races on Saturday, which will precede the feature race on Sunday.
Indian racing driver Jehan Daruvala is competing in the 2021 FIA Formula 2 Championship with Carlin Motorsport. He currently sits in eighth place in the driver standings after round 2 in Monaco. Chinese racing driver Guanyu Zhou is currently leading the table with 68 points. G. Zhou has set a strong start to the season by winning the round 1 feature race in Sakhir, Bahrain followed by a Sprint 1 win in Monte Carlo, Monaco last Saturday.
