Teradata, which has been around for 40 years, is one of the most popular analytics companies of all time. Regardless of the size or volume of the question, the organization provides real-time, intelligent responses that use 100 percent of the relevant data. It can be used on-premises, in the cloud, or anywhere in between. It’s known as Pervasive Data Intelligence (PDI). Teradata is the only company with industry-leading products, experience, and scalability.

Teradata uses the power of data to change the way companies and people live. Teradata allows full use of all data at all times, allowing users to analyze anything, deploy anywhere, and provide actionable analytics. The company’s solutions address the current approach to analytics’ complexity, expense, and inadequacy. Teradata has made several major acquisitions in the last few years to improve or create its market value, as part of its search to drive better data capabilities. In June 2016, the company acquired Big Data Partnership, a London-based startup that offers big data solutions and training to help businesses become more adept at using big data.

Teradata’s Big Data Partner and Think Big consultancy have discussed the need for better data science within organizations with rapidly increasing datasets. Based on an evaluation of technology, market, and governance sophistication, the former has adopted a validated methodology to assist businesses in rapidly delivering effective big data programs.

Think Big Velocity, a tried-and-true open-source consultancy strategy, was catalyzed by its methodology. Teradata accomplishes this by assisting its clients in the continuous development, deployment, management, and optimization of new open-source production analytic solutions. Teradata and SAS, a business intelligence and analytical software and services provider, announced a strategic alliance in January 2017 to allow customers to take advantage of the best of both companies’ strengths.

The companies’ respective strengths in business analytics and enterprise data warehousing were expected to be combined in this relationship. The SAS-Teradata relationship is still based on allowing businesses to operate and optimize key aspects of SAS solutions and analytic processes within the Teradata database engine. Customers should take advantage of SAS capabilities and analytical functions to take advantage of Teradata’s architecture’s core parallel processing capabilities.

Teradata also offers solutions that are optimized for the particular needs, challenges, and opportunities of industries and personalized for individual businesses, based on sector-specific expertise, integration maps, and big data experience.
