IMDb (www.imdb.com), the world’s most popular and authoritative source for information on movies, TV shows, and celebrities, recently presented an IMDb “Breakout Star” STARmeter Award to Munjya star Sharvari. The award recognizes stars who are strong performers on the Popular Indian Celebrities list on the IMDb app. The list charts the page views of the more than 250 million monthly visitors to IMDb worldwide and has proven to be a keenly accurate predictor of stars who are about to have a breakthrough career moment. In an exclusive IMDb ‘Speed Dating’ segment, Sharvari spilled the beans on her favorite holiday, the movie she can watch repeatedly, her prized possession, and much more.

When asked about her favorite holiday, Sharvari expressed her love for Ganesh Chaturthi, stating, “My favorite holiday in general is Ganesh Chaturthi. I really love going to my native place, Morgaon. It’s the best time off that I get from my work and I just love that place very, very dearly. So no matter what, every year, I take out time during Ganesh Chaturthi and go to my native place, and that’s the best holiday ever. We have a house there which is called Wada and it is almost more than 100 years old. I think that the fact that family comes together and it’s such an auspicious occasion, it just makes me feel like my year begins and ends there. It’s just very, very close to me and very dear to me.”

When asked which one movie she can rewatch anytime, Sharvari said, “I love Jodhaa Akbar. I used to be obsessed with that movie growing up as well. I think I can rewatch it anytime. I used to know the dialogues by heart, I used to love the costumes, the set, and of course, everybody on the set of Jodhaa Akbar. But I would say Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ma’am is obviously my favorite character.”

Talking about her most prized possession and reflecting on a cherished memory from early on in her career, Sharvari said, “When I was an assistant director, I got my first paycheck, and I remember that my parents actually framed that paycheck and wrote a really sweet note under it. So I think that’s my most prized possession.”
