Microsoft has recently updated their users with the new windows 11. The new feature about the OS update is that it will be able to sideload Android apps onto their system. After the launch of Windows 11, the user will not have to stick to apps that are provided by Amazon. Much clarity is to be provided by Microsoft about how the android apps would run on Windows.
Information’s regarding the running and installing of sideloaded apps are not yet known. Sideloaded apps also run on Chrome OS. The process is very complicated because the user needs to enable Linux then the user needs to undertake some command line work. As per the reports, how the android apps would work on the new OS update. Redmond said that the user will have access to Microsoft Store and this allows the user to easily access Android apps, with the help of Amazon Appstore. Further details were not shared by the tech giant. The statement was still vague and has no idea about how things are going to work. Desires regarding sideloading of Android apps will not have increased if Microsoft has chosen to include Google Play Store rather than the Amazon App Store because access to certain programs was provided to the users by the app Stores which was not been able to access previously. Amazon Appstore removes key Android apps like Snapchat and Apple Music from its catalog.
This news will be good news for those users who are looking forward to sideloading Android apps to their Windows enabled computers or laptops. By the way, it will provide some concern towards it as well. Piracy is not an issue in the case of Android apps because the apps are made available for free in the App Store, but people can easily attain the APK for free in the case of paid apps from any of the questionable sources and that they can easily load them on their system. The main problem is with the security and safety that Microsoft need to address, concerning google they have already built-in Android capability to scan all sideloaded apps from any malicious threats or viruses that would hugely harm the system. These questions need to be answered by Microsoft in due time.
