To assist the Australian government and critical infrastructure industries in navigating the cyber threat landscape, Wipro Limited, a top provider of technology services and consulting, has announced the introduction of Wipro Shelde Australia. Wipro Shelde Australia is a sovereign cybersecurity product.
In 2021, Wipro purchased Ampion, and by combining its two companies, Shelde and Revolution IT, it obtained access to specialized Australian engineering, DevOps, and cybersecurity expertise.
Shelde will now market its specialized Australian cybersecurity services as part of the new package.
Through a pool of national security-cleared consultants with knowledge of the PGPA Act, Privacy Act, Protective Security Policy Framework, Essential 8, The Information Security Manual, and Commonwealth Risk Management Policy, this offering will give customers access to local next-generation cybersecurity services.
Assist clients in achieving crucial business objectives, it will strengthen Wipro’s extensive worldwide cybersecurity and risk offerings. Customers can also take advantage of its Canberra1 security Zone 3 protected facility for prototyping solutions up to PROTECTED.
All of this is made possible by Wipro’s Melbourne Cyber Defence Centre, which helps clients quickly expand capacity and manage their security operations following regional data specifications.
