Xiaomi India has launched two new Televisions into the Indian market, the two new Mi TVs belonging to Xiaomi’s Horizon Edition. The Mi TV 4A Horizon version was released in one model with 32 inches and another model with 43 inches. The series is called Horizon since the company cites an exceptionally low body screen ratio. The 32-inch model will go up compete with OnePlus, Vu, Samsung, LG, TCL, and other brands in the market. The recently released smart budget TV has upgraded operating system and design. The company has also focused on ensuring that the consumers encounter clearer contrasts, precise screen calibration, and perfection in color reproduction with Mi’s proprietary Vivid Picture Engine technology.
The 32-inch Mi TV 4A Horizon Version TV is priced at ₹13,499, it comes with ready HD resolution. The TV will first go on sale from noon on 11 September and will be made available via Xiaomi’s e-commerce website and even Flipkart. The 43-inch Mi TV 4A variant comes with a FullHD 42-inch screen and is priced at ₹22,999. This model will go on sale via Flipkart and Mi.com from 15 September at 6 pm.
The slim bezels are the talking point when it comes to style. The company claims the TVs get a body-to-body screen ratio of 95 percent. Also, the company claims the screen has a viewing angle of 178 degrees. Both TVs are powered by a quad-core processor which also has a Mali 450 GPU assisted by 8GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM.
The Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition has Patchwall as the main interface and Xiaomi says that this latest version is built for users in India. The UI comes with features such as One Click Fee, Universal Search, and Kids Mode. The platform also gets 20 + applications for Entertainment purposes. The MI Horizon TVs come with 20W speakers. The DTS HD supporting stereo speakers provide better sound quality. The customer gets three HDMI ports on both TVs for connectivity, out of the three ports one supports HDMI ARC. The TVs will also receive a 3.5 mm jack and 3 USB 2.0 ports. The TVs also comes with an Ethernet port. The TV will offer Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, and Bluetooth v4.2 for wireless networking.
